This symposium, hosted by the European Journal of Women’s Studies, aims to take stock of, and reflect on, the issues, challenges and opportunities that have arisen within, without and in relation to, gender studies, feminist theorisation and activism in European contexts as a result of the impacts of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The event consists of four panels, one on (Re)thinking Gender in the Twenty-First Century, moderated by Ulrika Dahl from the Centre for Gender Research, one on Reflections from Activist/Academic Intersections: Gender, Rights & Justice in the Midst of a Pandemic, one on Working on Gender Studies in Times of Covid-19, and finally one on Impact of COVID-19 on publishing in Gender Studies Journals. Registration is free and open to the public.
